On day two the weather was great and I decided to head downtown. After exiting the One World Metro station you see the high rise buildings right in front of you. It’s a very impressive sight!
The 9/11 museum and memorial are a must-go in NYC. The museum is very well done, in a tasteful manner. The entire experience left a lasting impression.

View from the One World Observatory
After the museum and memorial, I went up the World Trade Center. It wasn’t a very busy day, so I got the elevator all to myself!
The Skypod elevator takes 47 seconds from the ground floor to the 102nd floor. I was a bit dizzy after both the ascent and descent.
The view from the top is a bit hampered by glass all around but no less impressive! The pictures don’t do it justice.
